When "The Lord Will Not Hear" Our Prayers

"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me." (Psalm 66:18)

"He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination." (Proverbs 28:9)



"Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and YOUR SINS HAVE HID HIS FACE FROM YOU, THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR." (Isaiah 59:1-2)

"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:8-10)
